Dreamland Bar-B-Que
Dreamland Bar-B-Que is a barbecue restaurant chain based in Alabama. It was founded in 1958 by "Big Daddy" John Bishop in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Since then, Dreamland has opened restaurants in Birmingham, Montgomery, Huntsville, Mobile, Northport, and two in the Atlanta, Georgia metro area, and has been named by USA Today as one of the top 10 “barbecue joints” in the country.
At the original location in Tuscaloosa, the menu consists of ribs, rib sandwiches, and white bread. At the other locations, in addition to ribs, they also serve pulled pork, barbecue chicken, smoked sausage, baked beans, coleslaw, potato salad, house salads and banana pudding. Even with the other items on the menu, Dreamland is eminently known for their ribs and their barbecue sauce.
