Joe joined Retail Specialists, Inc. in 2009, and in doing so has helped expand the company’s footprint by opening an office in New Orleans, Louisiana. Joe brings with him a wealth of experience in both brokerage and development as well as the tenant side of the retail commercial real estate business.
A lifelong resident of New Orleans, Joe began his career as a Sales and Leasing Executive with Stirling Properties, Inc, where his primary focus was the leasing, sale, and development of shopping centers, as well as assisting national, regional and local retailers with market analysis, site selection, and LOI and Lease negotiations.
In 2003, Joe accepted a position as Director of Real Estate and Development for Denver, Colorado based Quiznos Sub. His job responsibilities included developing and implementing market growth strategies, assembling and managing a network of real estate brokers, developers and landlords, and working daily with a pipeline of Franchise Owners, directing them through the site selection, construction and lease negotiation process. In the 6 years Joe was with Quiznos, he was consistently a top performer in the Real Estate Division and was responsible for the development of over 250 locations throughout eight (8) states in the Southeastern United States.
Joe graduated from Louisiana State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and has served as both Treasurer and President of the Commercial Investment Division (CID) of the New Orleans Metropolitan Area Realtors (NOMAR). Joe enjoys playing golf, hunting, and most importantly, spending time with his wife Dorothy and daughter, Frances.
