John L. Moss, Vice-President and Managing Broker, New Orleans, LA Office
John Moss partnered with Retail Specialists, Inc. in 2009 as a managing partner of the New Orleans office and is aiding in the expansion of the RSI footprint into Louisiana and Mississippi. In addition to brokerage and retail tenant-rep responsibilities, John oversees the day to day operations of the New Orleans office.
As a New Orleans native, John began his real estate career as a Sales and Leasing Executive with Stirling Properties where his primary focus was the leasing, sales and development of shopping centers. He also assisted national, regional, and local retailers with market analysis, site selection and lease negotiations.
In 2006, John joined SRSA Commercial Real Estate Inc. where he focused on retail tenant representation and shopping center leasing. John has represented many national and local clients in their expansion into new and existing markets.
In addition to being a licensed Louisiana real estate agent and a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) candidate, John is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and serves as the Next Generation chairperson for ICSC.
John graduated from Ole Miss with a Bachelor of Science in Hotel Restaurant Management and a minor in Business Administration. John enjoys fishing, competitive sailing and most importantly spending time with his family, friends and wife Colette.
