Retail Specialists, Inc.

As Director of Project Leasing, Martin represents clients in the leasing and brokerage of retail properties.  In his role he consults with landlords, property owners and developers to determine best property use and layout.  Beyond marketing and consulting for available property, he is also involved in lease and contract negotiations, market analysis, property valuation and the acquisition of investment property.

Prior to joining Retail Specialists, Inc., Martin honed his real estate skills with regional shopping center developer, RGS Properties, Inc., where he was involved in every aspect of the development process, as well as leasing and management.

Martin received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Alabama in Public Relations.  He is currently a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and earned the coveted Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation from the Commercial Real Estate Investment Institute in 2008.

He currently resides in Birmingham with his wife Alison and their three children.  In his free time he enjoys spending time with his family.
