Brooks W. Corr
Brooks represents clients in the leasing and brokerage of retail properties. He negotiates leases and purchase contracts, assesses property, and handles market and trade area analysis. Brooks also represents national and local tenants in their expansion throughout Alabama, Mississippi, and the Florida panhandle. Additionally, he is responsible for strategic mapping, site selection, property valuation, and demographic research.
During his time at Retail Specialists, Inc. Brooks has assisted some of the most well-known tenants in the United States with their expansion into new markets in the Southeast. He has worked as a third-party representative for retail Lifestyle Centers, Power Centers, Neighborhood Centers, unanchored strip centers, outparcels, and retail land. In addition to landlord and tenant representation, Brooks has worked with city municipalities as a representative or consultant in their real estate matters such as land sales, attracting new retail development, and providing guidance to daily real estate decisions.
In 2008, Brooks was awarded the highly regarded Commercial Investment scholarship by the Alabama CCIM chapter in order to begin his CCIM education. He is currently pursuing his CCIM designation and is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), the Alabama CCIM Chapter, the Birmingham Commercial Real Estate Club and the Rotaract Club of Birmingham.
Brooks is a graduate of Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration and had a focus on Economics. A native of Birmingham, Brooks currently attends Covenant Presbyterian Church and volunteers his time with Covenant’s Student Ministries as a small group leader and a student leader. Brooks also enjoys playing golf, tennis, biking, and running the occasional triathlon in his spare time.
