Position Details

We are currently looking for experienced Leasing and Brokerage Associates to join our client-focused, third-party team in our Birmingham office. The ideal candidate would have established experience and relationships within the industry, a self-starter attitude and a strong work ethic, proven skills in business development to bring in new accounts, and the capacity to work on complex transactions.

This position will report to the Executive Vice President and the individual will be responsible for providing dedicated real estate strategy and account management, partnering closely with property owners,  sourcing new landlord relationships, and all transaction-related services to our clients.

Responsibilities

Business Development: Our associates are talented and strategic in acquiring new clients. Although we provide a number of house accounts when applicable, our Leasing & Brokerage Associates are expected to bring in new business and will be supported accordingly.

Client Consulting: We ultimately consider ourselves an extension of our clients’ real estate team and treat every asset as if it were our own. We don’t wait for opportunities to knock, we don’t run from complex projects, and we don’t avoid a crisis.

Collaborative Mindset: We not only encourage collaboration, but we also require it. We know that outcomes are elevated through collaboration and have found that the greatest results come from utilizing the unique backgrounds of our team members.

Knowledge and Skills Required

  • Transaction management experience
  • Proven skills in contract review, lease/purchase, and sale negotiations
  • Solid understanding of financial and accounting impacts
  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent negotiating, communication, collaboration, organizational, planning, and process skills
  • Experience working with corporate clients to achieve real estate objectives
  • Strong ability to interpret and communicate business intelligence and data analytics
  • Ability to build relationships and interact effectively with businesses and clients at a senior level
  • Ability to think strategically and act proactively


Education and Experience
  • Prefer a bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Real Estate
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant real estate experience
  • Real estate brokerage or salesperson license required

Position Details


We are currently looking for experienced Tenant Representation Brokers to join our client-dedicated team in our Birmingham and Atlanta offices. The ideal candidate would have an established book of business, proven real estate strategy experience, a self-starter attitude and strong work ethic, the ability to recruit and manage a portfolio of clients, and the capacity to handle all transaction-related details.


This position will report to the Executive Vice President/Principal and the individual will be responsible for all transactional details including site selection, strategy development, negotiation, and deal closing. Support will be provided from team members in marketing, site selection packaging, and accounting.


Responsibilities


Business Development: Our brokers are talented and strategic in acquiring new clients. Although we provide a number of house accounts when applicable, our Tenant Representation brokers are expected to bring in new business and will be supported accordingly.


Client Consulting: Our brokers serve as consultants for our clients in order to gauge both their present and future needs. We ultimately consider ourselves an extension of our clients’ real estate team and work tirelessly to identify the right spaces, negotiate deal terms on their behalf, introduce our network of service providers, and facilitate a smooth and successful transaction.

  • 5 to 7 years of relevant real estate experience, ideally working for a retailer or in a Tenant Representation role
  • Real estate brokerage or salesperson license required
