Sarah is a Senior Property Accountant with a strong background in real estate financial management. She most recently served as Property Accountant at SPM Property Management in Birmingham, where she managed the full month-end, quarterly, and annual financial close process for a 21-property portfolio, handling the full month-end, quarterly, and annual close process and making sure ownership always had accurate financial packages in hand.
Before moving into property accounting, Sarah built a broad foundation across staff and senior accountant roles, where she managed accounts receivable and payable, performed bank and loan reconciliations, implemented ACH payment processes, and prepared financial reporting in accordance with GAAP. That range of experience gives her a well-rounded command of the full accounting cycle, from transactional processing through financial statement preparation and audit coordination.
