BIRMINGHAM, AL (February 5, 2021) – Retail Specialists has secured Coffee Lab as the newest tenant joining the Lakeview 29Seven Development. The development is home to several noteworthy tenants including Hattie B’s Hot Chicken, Locked In, Jimmy John’s, and the new Thai and sushi restaurant, UMAMI.
Coffee Lab is a new concept from the owner and operator of Screaming Beans Coffee, JD Junkins, and is set to open in spring 2021. The restaurant will be filling the 1,271 SF vacancy at 2808 7th Avenue South in Birmingham, Alabama.
“We are excited to be opening Coffee Lab in the Lakeview area,” said owner JD Junkins. “This is an idea we have been playing with for a while. Coffee Lab will be a coffee shop with the unique distinction of being based in chemistry. In addition, we put an emphasis on being coffee with a cause. A portion of our profits go to Honduras to putting water filters in remote villages. We look forward to joining Lakeview and our surrounding neighbors.”
