BIRMINGHAM, AL (December 19, 2025) -Retail Specialists has successfully represented RAM Development Partners in the $3,268,000 acquisition of the former Rite Aid property located at 7570 Jefferson Hwy. in Baton Rouge. The highly visible 1.2-acre site, positioned at one of the city’s busiest and most prominent intersections, includes an 11,000-square-foot building and closed on October 21, 2025, following a comprehensive 100-day due diligence and closing period.
Vacant since approximately 2014, the property’s location in a rapidly growing and active trade area made it a strategic acquisition opportunity. The successful closing marks a significant milestone for this long-vacant corner site that has been a focal point for redevelopment interest in the corridor.
