Small Cities, Big Development:
Rebuilding and Reinventing our Small Towns

*this program counts for six hours of Georgia Continuing Education Credit.

To see the growth in our smaller towns with successful development there must be collaborative leadership to carry a strategic plan involving public and private partnerships. Cities need to strengthen the economy, create a better quality of life while still keeping their distinctive suburban character. Many of these community leaders have guided the resurgence of their downtown as well as shepherd the new investments in their communities. This program seeks to explore how this has been achieved, the driving forces behind it and the obstacles to success.

Moderator Emil Gullia, Executive Vice President/Principal of Retail Specialists
Marty Allen, City Manager of Suwanee
David Belle Isle, Mayor of Alpharetta
Judy Johnson, Mayor of Lawrenceville
Jack Longino, Mayor of College Park
