The Waites, lease your space now!
There soon will be more apartment options close to the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
Developer Retail Specialists said the 45 apartment units at The Waites mixed-use development are now pre-leasing, and will be available for move-ins starting June 1. A model unit at the property is available for tours now.
“We’re excited to begin pre-leasing the 45 units of The Waites,” said Lauren Watts, property manager. “The prime location of The Waites makes it an ideal residence for anyone looking to relocate downtown or for students, residents, interns, physicians, professors and young professionals attending, working or living near UAB. We encourage anyone looking for a new home to stop by and see all that The Waites has to offer.”
The retail tenants on the ground floor, including Taco Mama, Farm Burger, Smoothie King and Roll Up, a sushi concept, are expected to open mid-summer.
Rodney Barstein, chief development officer for Retail Specialists, said the development team, which includes Williams Blackstock Architects and Cooper Construction, made an effort to incorporate a great amount of natural light into the building. The units have 10-foot ceilings and many large windows.
