Construction has officially started on 79 Commerce, Montgomery’s newest mixed-use development! Completion is slated for Fall 2015.
While Montgomery is one of the most historic communities in the country, it is also in the midst of a housing shortage. The Retail Specialists team saw this as an opportunity to bring a dynamic, mixed-use project to the area that would create 75-100 new jobs and generate sales of over $5,000,000 per year. The project is located in the thriving downtown business district within walking distance to some of Montgomery’s greatest attractions: the Renaissance Hotel and Conference Center, Riverfront Park, Riverwalk Stadium, and several popular restaurants.
79 Commerce will feature approximately 18,000 SF of ground-floor, retail and restaurant space, with Mellow Mushroom committed to the project, and 54 Class-A apartment units.
